DIY: Washi Tape Storage – Paper Pumpkin


Washi Tape Storage

I have issues of misplacing my washi tapes, which can be very frustrating when I need them. So I decided to create my own Washi Tape Storage using my old Paper Pumpkin boxes store them. I love paper pumpkin boxed they stack well on top of each other.


Materials Used:

Paper Pumpkin Box

Designer Series Paper

Chipboard backing from paper pumpkin kits





1.Take a piece of 9 1/2″ X 6″ DSP and glue to the top of the lid

2.Take  3 pieces of DSP 9 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ glue 1 to the front and back of the box. and the front of the lid.

3.Take 2 pieces of DSP 6″ x 1 1/2″ and glue 1 to each remaining side.

4. Take 9 1/4″ x 6″ DSP and glue to the inside of the bottom box.



1.Cut the end flaps of the lid.



1.Cut chipboard 1 1/2″ segments of chipboard, remember to cut short wise. You will need 4 segments.


2.Grab a washi tape. Put the chip board up against the washi tape , and using the washi tape the chipboard, repeat the step for each section, using the washi tape roll as a spacer.

Wallah you are done with the washi Tape storage now fill it up.
